          Mastering Prioritization

How the Eisenhower Matrix transforms chaos into structured productivity.

          Q1: Do First

Urgent and important tasks that require immediate attention. These are crises, deadlines, and pressing problems.

          Q2: Schedule

Important but not urgent tasks. This is where strategic thinking, planning, and personal growth happen.

          Q3: Delegate

Urgent but not important tasks. These are interruptions and requests from others that don't advance your goals.

          Q4: Eliminate

Neither urgent nor important. These are distractions and time-wasters that should be removed entirely.

          Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about using the matrix effectively.

What is the difference between Urgent and Important?
Urgent tasks require immediate reaction (like a ringing phone). Important tasks contribute to your long-term mission, values, and goals.
Which quadrant should I spend most of my time in?
Highly effective people spend most of their time in Quadrant 2 (Important, Not Urgent). Operating here reduces crises in Quadrant 1.
How many tasks should I have in Quadrant 1?
Ideally, very few. If Q1 is constantly full, you are in a perpetual state of crisis management. Try to plan better in Q2 to prevent Q1 pileups.
Is my data saved if I refresh the page?
Yes! Your tasks are automatically saved to your browser's local storage. You can refresh or leave the page without losing your matrix. To start fresh, use the 'Clear Matrix' button.
Can I move tasks between quadrants?
Yes! Click the relocate button (two arrows icon) next to any task, and select the new quadrant. The task will instantly move to its new category.
